I am definitely not a good public speaker and am definitely always an awkward mess in front of large crowds. :) However, I think it’s largely just a problem of mindset. You can’t always guarantee how the audience will react to your performance, but you can control your delivery. We are most often our harshest critiques, so give a presentation that YOU can be proud of. Own it. :) Hope this helps!

Yes, you do need a masters and additional training! I still need to do my research about the field though

I would say… I joined 20% for social reasons, 45% to get some exposure to the working world, and 35% to quit the bs and put my life back on track. There’s a professional aspect to every industry. Even if you aren’t looking to pursue a business-related career, strong public speaking and organizational skills can only help you in the long run. Hope that helps!

Can’t guarantee this won’t change, but here goes nothing! I want to work as a counselor at a children’s hospital.

HAHAHA no … no I’m not. Aint nothin’ natural about photos these days. Lighting, angles, and makeup work wonders. I am a panda-eyed, unpleasant zombie when I wake up. Housemates and boyfriend can attest to that.
Since these two questions are so similar, I’ll just answer it in one post:
I’m no valedictorian nor valued honor student, so I think I’d only have 30 seconds to walk across the stage and pray that I don’t trip. But if I had the chance, I’d say this to my family and loved ones: “Thank you for not letting me give up on myself.”
Simple but more relevant than ever. I’ll save my typical long-winded appreciation speech for when I actually graduate. :)
